MORE ABOUT ME & MY WORK

• My professional journey started as qualified Clinical Psychologist in 1987 from Lahore,Punjab University. I moved to London after that and did Post Graduate Professional Development training In Counselling and Psychotherapy with an integrative approach of Psychodynamic, Humanistic and CBT, from London Metropolitan University, North London. In 2010 I specialised in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy from Institute of Family Therapy and Birkbeck, University of London. 

• I am a professionally qualified, multi-lingual,  UKCP and AFT registered Specialist Systemic Couple and Family Psychotherapist with an MSc Degree and Post Graduate Diploma from Institute of Family Therapy and Birkbeck, University of London.

• I have more than 30 years experience of working in the Mental Health field of therapy and counselling with Adults and Children in multiple contexts; NHS and third sector organisations.

• Over the last 15 years, I have been practicing as Specialist Systemic Psychotherapist in multiple NHS mental health teams including Neuro Developmental and Schools Team at a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in London alongside my private practice in London. Currently I am based in Lahore.

• I offer consultations to a diverse group of health, social care and education professionals such as clinical psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Paediatricians, Occupational Therapists, school staff and social workers. I truly enjoy working face to face with clients who are seeking counselling and psychotherapy to work towards changes in their lives that can enhance their relationship dynamics and interactions.
